The hikers pass through a number of striking environments: beginning with the open vistas of the Puna (alpine), passing through the Bosque Nublado (Elfin Cloud Forest), and finishing in the montane forest of the Yungas. |
The trek ends at the lovely sub-tropical mountain town of Coroico, where participants get some time to relax (and recover) at the Hotel Esmeralda.
